Two companies built and sold, two I run today, the work I consult on, and what’s next. Food is where I proved I could build and scale. It isn’t the only thing I build.
Both acquired in 2024.
Latin-Arab food with a built-in give-back: one meal for a New Yorker in need for every meal sold, and good jobs for immigrant cooks. I co-founded it in 2019. When New York shut down in March 2020, it became a relief kitchen that scaled from 100 meals a day to 10,000. I sold it in 2024. themigrantkitchen.com →
The meals company behind JD Meals, which I built and sold in 2024. Starting in 2019 it delivered millions of fresh meals to shelters, schools and emergency sites across New York, and it was built to scale fast when demand surged. M/WBE-certified, with a halal-certified kitchen. jdmeals.com →

Most recently I consulted for Endless Access, part of Endless Studios. We took its education-through-gaming program in Jordan from 1,500 kids to 10,000 in a year. access.endlessstudios.com →
I also advise LEAP Learning Program, ProMedia Studios and EFE Benefit, and I give my time to The Migrant Kitchen Initiative, the Social Gastronomy Movement and the Displaced Kitchens series.

The 2017 dinner series that grew into a three-day festival near the UN. That work later took me to Turkey and Morocco with the State Department.
I’m building a new company in men’s self-care, with a nonprofit for kids affected by war built in from day one. The business has to do good to count. More soon.
