Can we meet in person for advice?

I love meeting people, and I say yes as often as I can. If you’re looking for advice and want to meet in person, I ask one thing: a $300 donation to a charity I pick. Then I’ll take you to lunch, and we’ll have a real conversation.

What is the Great Minds Dinner Series?

It grew out of the Displaced Kitchens dinners I started in 2017. It’s a small, invite-only dinner. No phones and no photos, so people can talk honestly about more than their work. To come, two past guests have to nominate you.

Are you looking at new ventures?

Always. If you’re building something, send it over. My due diligence usually takes a few days before I make a call.

Do you take guest posts?

Yes, even if you disagree with me. A good argument is welcome.
